Privacy Policy

Chasely (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the Chasely platform at chasely.co. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and business name. This is used to identify your account and personalise your experience.
Client information. When you add clients inside Chasely, we store their name and email address on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store this information.
Uploaded files. Documents your clients upload through Chasely are stored securely in cloud storage. Files are associated with your account and accessible only by you.
Usage data. We may collect basic usage information such as pages visited, actions taken, and browser type to improve the product. This data is not sold.
Billing information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Dodo Payments. We do not store your credit card details. We receive confirmation of subscription status from Dodo Payments via webhooks.
2. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Chasely service
- To send transactional emails (document requests, reminders, upload notifications) on your behalf
- To manage your subscription and enforce plan limits
- To improve and develop the product
- To respond to support requests
We do not sell your data or your clients' data to any third party.
3. Email communications
Chasely sends emails on your behalf to your clients (document request emails, reminder emails). These emails are sent using Resend and originate from your configured sender address. Your clients may contact you directly to opt out of further communications.
We may also send you account-related emails such as password resets and upload notifications. These are transactional and cannot be opted out of while you maintain an account.
4. Third-party services
Chasely uses the following third-party providers:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Dodo Payments — subscription billing and payment processing
- Vercel — application hosting and infrastructure
Each provider has their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.
5. File storage and security
Files uploaded by your clients are stored in a private cloud storage bucket. Files are not publicly accessible — download links are short-lived and generated on demand. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.
6. Data retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days. Client data and uploaded files associated with your account are deleted at the same time.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Data portability

8. GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent (where applicable) and our legitimate interest in providing the service. For any GDPR-related requests, contact us at hello@chasely.co.
9. Cookies
Chasely uses session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
