Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Chasely platform operated by Chasely (“we”, “our”, “us”) at chasely.co. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of service

Chasely is a document collection platform that allows professionals (accountants, bookkeepers, and agencies) to request, track, and receive documents from their clients via automated follow-up emails and secure upload links.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use Chasely. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@chasely.co if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree not to use Chasely to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Chasely offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through Dodo Payments on a monthly basis.

Free plan. The free plan is limited to 2 document requests.

Pro plan. The Pro plan provides unlimited requests and additional features as described on our pricing page at chasely.co.

Billing. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Pro access until then.

Refunds. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days at hello@chasely.co.

6. Your content and client data

You retain ownership of all content you upload and all client data you store in Chasely. By using Chasely, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to collect and store documents and personal data from your clients. Chasely is a tool — compliance obligations remain with you.

7. Intellectual property

The Chasely platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CHASELY AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM USE OF CHASELY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

CHASELY IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, followed by binding arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
